Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Benchship. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
Benchship helps you verify and pack orders: scan a label, see what goes in the box, check it off, capture a proof photo, and (when connected to Shopify) fulfill the order. We provide the service as it is and may add, change, or remove features over time.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything done under your account. Give us an accurate email so we can reach you and so password resets work. Let us know right away if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
Acceptable use
- Don't use Benchship to break the law or to store or ship anything unlawful.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts.
- Only upload order and customer data that you have the right to use.
Your data and Shopify
You keep ownership of your data. You grant us permission to store and process it to provide the service, including accessing and writing back to your connected Shopify store within the permissions you grant. You're responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and your customers. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.
No guarantee against mistakes
Benchship is a tool to help you catch packing errors, but it doesn't guarantee that every order ships correctly. You remain responsible for what actually goes in your boxes and for your own fulfillment, shipping, and customer obligations.
Availability
We work to keep Benchship available and reliable, but we don't promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may perform maintenance or experience downtime.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. To the extent permitted by law, Benchship isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost sales, or mis-shipped orders. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Benchship and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other users at risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
